Black and white spotted Horse
Published in the August 2024 issue of Early American Life magazine, this horse sculpture is hand carved bass wood and is painted by hand in black and white paint with a real horse hair tail and leather inset ears.
The style is very similar to well-known horses created by Peter Brubacker. It is signed and dated on underside of the belly.
Each of my pieces is one of a kind and is designed and created in the Pennsylvania traditional carved sculptural style.
