This Parrot on a wall hanger sculpture has a barrel shaped grooved wall mount. The Parrot is hand carved and is painted by hand in dark green burnt orange and yellow paint with black and ochre highlights. It is finished with a wood stain and wax.
It has two wire legs attaching it to the branch which is connected into base hanger. There is a hole on the back of the barrel hanger allowing it to be hung on a wall. It is signed and dated on underside of the base.
Each of my pieces is one of a kind and is designed and created in the Pennsylvania traditional carved sculptural style. The paint on this parrot is in a Schtockschnitzler Simmons paint style.
