Simmons style Parrot on stump
This Simmons style parrot sculpture on rounded base is hand carved bass wood and is painted by hand in dark green, orange and yellow paint. The stump is orange with dark green combed strips It also had a black band collar with cream dots on it. It is finished with a wood stain and wax.
It has two wire legs attaching it to the base and is signed and dated on underside of the base.
Each of my pieces is one of a kind and is designed and created in the Pennsylvania traditional carved sculptural style.
