Bright yellow parrot with red head
This colorful parrot sculpture on turned egg shaped base is hand carved bass wood and is painted by hand in bright yellow, red, and green paint with black, ochre and camel highlights. It has a black band with cream colored dots around its neck. It is finished with a wood stain and wax.
It has two wire legs attaching it to the base and is signed and dated on underside of the base.
Each of my pieces is one of a kind and is designed and created in the Pennsylvania traditional carved sculptural style.
